About Meher Institute of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (MINAHS)
Meher Institute of Nursing and Allied Sciences (MINAS), Mirpurkhas, The healthcare industry has continued to change significantly over the past few years. A transformation in the role of nurses is increasing the opportunities for those who graduate from nursing colleges. Expanding technological advances also require more highly skilled personnel who understand technology and use it to manage the information essential to their ability to track and assess care that meets the national and international health care standards. The ultimate job of nurses will be making sure that the right person is providing the right care at the right cost.
Currently, there is a grave shortage of nurses in Pakistan. With the rise in population, our country is facing an increasing number of hospitalized patients with acute and chronic illnesses, high maternal and child morbidity and mortality rates, a growing elderly population with multiple chronic health problems. To respond to this situation, more and more highly educated and well trained nurses at the baccalaureate and graduate levels are required.
This expanding need for nursing graduates has led the Meher Group of Institutions (MGI) to establish Meher Institute of Nursing and Allied Sciences (MINAS) in Mirpurkhas with an elaborate undergraduate (BSN) . These programs are according to the guidelines of Pakistan Nursing Council and Higher Education Commission with the vision for achieving a higher level of excellence in education, research and practice through programs that are responsive to current and emerging health care challenges.
MINAS is now pursuing a program of education within the MINAS campus and clinical training opportunities in these medical institutions:
